Nulon 100% Synthetic 5W-40 Long Life Petrol and Diesel Engine/Motor Oil is designed to provide the ultimate protection for all technically advanced passenger car and light commercial petrol and diesel engines that require a fuel conserving 5W-40 low viscosity engine/motor oil. It is specifically formulated to provide protection during long oil drain intervals and is safe to use in modern diesel engines/motors fitted with catalysts and particulate filters.
Meeting modern European Union emission standards has resulted in the widespread usage of advanced after treatment systems such as Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF's) and Catalytic Converters. These modern diesel engines/motors require an engine oil with low sulphated ash, phosphorous, and sulphur contents - known as low SAPS.
This oil is recommended for use in both turbo charged and non turbo charged diesel and petrol engines/motors. It provides superior resistance to sludge formation and viscosity change. High shear stable polymers and 100% synthetic base oil form the basis of this technically advanced engine/motor oil. This ensures that the oil stays within specification for long oil change intervals. Phosphorus levels are controlled to give excellent wear protection whilst meeting the Australian Motor Industry agreements to ensure prolonged life of catalytic converters.
